The Association has Corporate Accounts with Jaiz Bank and Stanbic IBTC Bank where the Alumni funds are kept. Funds generated through registration are used for the running of the Association and for developmental projects such as the purchase and donation of the books, podiums, wall clocks, and signboards with Mission and Vision Statement of the University, among other things to the University. The Alumni Exco have been extending the hands of friendship through attending the naming and wedding ceremonies of members, paying condolence visits to members, stakeholders and friends of the University, who lost their love ones in and outside Gombe.
The Exco have also been directly involved in championing the course of Alumni members and non-members alike, as well as facilitating the process of writing of Reference and Introductory Letters by the Vice-Chancellor and Former Vice-Chancellor to countless members and other people seeking for employment and, or admission in Nigeria and abroad. The Exco have also been promoting social programs such as friendly football matches played between Alumni members in the service of the University and members outside the University. These, among others, which the Association has been doing have truly enhance the wellbeing of members and others as well as help foster unity and togetherness among the members. In view of the fact that Alumni members the world over are veritable means of resources mobilization for proper upkeep of their Alma Maters, the Alumni Leadership have over the years been facing certain challenges, yet we are determined to succeed against all odds. People say a mountain appears to have a different shape from different angle of view, but there is a reason to believe that the Association is so far not doing badly. The Association is indeed a virile and vibrant organization that has achieved so much within the span of relatively few years of its existence. This is possible because certain Alumni members and stakeholders have sacrificed their personal comfort, their precious time and resources in order to see to the development of the Association. We therefore completely agree with George Adams' statement that:' who has never done a kind deed for us or spoken one word of encouragement to us has entered into the makeup of our character and our thoughts, as well as our success.
